CELEBRITY BAKING CLASS

Indulge in an afternoon of festive baking alongside your favourite celebrity baker!

This competitive, creative and fun team activity gives you the opportunity to bake alongside the most loved bakers from the hit TV show the Great British Bake Off in a high quality kitchen in Old St. From a novice to the more technical home baker we’ll provide a challenging but entertaining environment for everyone. Everything you’ll need on the day will be provided for you, all you have to bring is your team and a desire to get baking in your pairs with the chance to earn the bragging rights of being selected as star baker!

Your team will arrive and don their all important aprons (yours to keep!) before watching a demo from your baking star whilst you sip prosecco. Then it’s time to crack on with the recipe, baking in pairs with all the ingredients & equipment you need to whip up something glorious! Your celeb baker will be on hand to offer assistance and advice, on your choice of recipe (and you can tuck in to your teachers freshly baked goods). Xmas options include Buche De Noel, Mince Pies, Religieuse and Spiced Orange Shortbread.

Prosecco, soft drinks and snacks will be provided, and be sure to bring along your own playlist to enjoy whilst you bake.

After you’ve baked up a storm, there will be judging and awards handed out for the ‘Best Bake’ and you’ll then get the chance to sit down and get to know your baking legend. You’ll be provided with laminated recipe cards and boxes to take your delicious baked goods away with you at the end.

Bakers include Jane Beedle, Glenn Cosby, Howard Middleton, Dan Beasley-Harling, Andrew Smyth, Karen Wright, Rosie Brandreth-Poynter, Ian Cumming, Mark Lutton, Paul Jagger, Jon Jenkins, Mark Lutton and Beca Lyne-Pirkis.

COAL-FIRED PIZZA WITH DRINKS
2 HOURS

After your baking class you’ll take a short walk (8 mins) to Serata Hall – a gorgeous upscale urban bar serving delicious Italian fare, with multiple spaces to suit any sized group.

The venue features an open kitchen with a coal oven, and everything on the menu is made in house every day from their 48 hour fermented pizza dough to their homemade pasta. They use the best ingredients and cook from scratch.

The pizza package features their five best pizza options from the menu (enough for approx one pizza per person) and a drink for each guest (pint of beer/lager/cider, glass of house wine, single spirit mixer or two soft drinks). Enjoy the chic interiors and lively atmosphere until late!
