What You Need To Know

FESTIVE SWAG/WREATH WORKSHOP - HACKNEY
2 HOURS

Your day will start at an East London rule breaking florist, renowned for their off-beat approach to floral and plant styling.

Their new studio in London Fields is the perfect setting for the workshop, where you’ll be taught how to make a Christmas swag or wreath in their unique & original style. Like a wreath, a Swag adorns the door during the festive season with a wilder, more natural look.  

The two hour workshop includes everything you need, with an expert florist showing you methods of base making, swag dressing, foliage and decoration selection and styling.  You’ll take your new creation away with you, and be able to use your newfound skills to create wreath arrangements at home for years to come. 

FESTIVE DINNER & DRINKS AT MARTELLO HALL - HACKNEY
3-4 HOURS

Next up it’s dinner time at nearby London Fields (15 min walk), a quirky pub with an industrial feel, whipping up amazing wood-fired pizza & pasta dishes. Everything on the menu is made in house every day from their 48 hour fermented pizza dough to their homemade pasta. They use the best ingredients they can and cook from scratch. For larger groups private dining is available in the chic cocktail lounge, with private roof terrace and its own bar and music system. Smaller groups will enjoy the buzz of the main restaurant space.

You’ll be greeted with a Rhubarb Prosecco Bellini, before enjoying a delicious three course festive dinner and drinks vouchers (beer, wine, single house spirit & mixer). Menu highlights include fried aubergines with stracciatella & mint, smoked pork ribs with hot honey & hot red pesto, and aubergine and cashew cheese parmigiana with red onion salad (vegan). You’ll round things off with the perfect after dinner drink – a homemade limoncello. Cheers!
