You’ll set off on a canoe from a floating base resting on the River Lea, a remarkable river & an essential trade route for centuries. Starting in Hackney Wick, you can explore Wick Woodlands, Walthamstow Wetlands, the Olympic Stadium & beyond by canoe.

A team of qualified watersports professionals will show you the ropes & their stable fleet of boats are suitable for all abilities. The team take fun seriously – with a focus on friendliness, they’re the experts for adventures on London’s waterways.

On the day, the crew will meet you to kit you up and take you through the basics on dry land before you set off on your own adventure. All your equipment is provided & generally people stay mostly dry.

Next you’ll take a short 5 min walk along the canal to Hackney Bridge, for street food and drinks.

This excellent canal-side destination features an array of indoor event spaces, plus two sunny terraces and an expansive gardens overlooking the canal, with outdoor bars and an events tent. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after your Olympic Challenge!

The venue has a wealth of amazing street food options including Bovine Burger, Made In Puglia Pizza, La Cantina Mexican, Tamila Indian and Wrap & Rolla. The variety gives your team the flexibility to select what they like from a huge variety.

For larger groups, private and semi-private spaces can be provided, with arrival drinks on ice and exclusive use bars for your team to order drinks (minimum spends may apply).
